Since 1940, this tiny, 2.5-hectare vineyard has been making bright, fresh wines in the Northwestern corner of Spain in Galicia. Its third-generation winemaker, Mauro Estevez, continues with winemaking traditions in the area and maintains low case production for top-notch quality.

Made using the grape varieties; Treixadura, Albariño, Loureira, and Lado, this bright, citrusy white wine is reminiscent of a dry Riesling that’s made love to Muscadet. Between the perfect combination of freshness and medium body as well as the aroma/flavour labyrinth of fresh green apple, green tea, honeysuckle and some subtle salinity, this wine is incredibly complex and nothing you’d expect. Wait, what is that on the finish? Cinnamon?

Get this wine if you need to impress on the fly. Last-minute invite? This is a chic wine that nearly no one is familiar with and will score you points for those interested in wine. Not sure what’s for dinner? No problem. Works as an aperitif in a get-to-know-you setting but equally works with a fresh tapas spread.
