At the centre of the Loire Valley is an area that goes back to the 13th century,  Vouvray. Synonymous with Chenin Blanc, a grape known for its uniquely particular flavour profiles and versatility, the appellation has a star in Sebastien Bruner. After inheriting a parcel from his grandfather (as well as a 10km underground cellar that used to be a mushroom farm), he decided to launch his own sustainable and eco-friendly winery. Since 2006, he has produced distinct cuvées for each type of terroir found on his humble three-hectare vineyard. As one of the first in the area to adopt responsible farming techniques, he not only changed the wine making game in Vouvray, but showcased a new profile of the grape.

The Arpent cuvée is made of 100% Chenin Blanc and grown in flint-rich soils giving it a stunning amount of freshness and aromas of baked apple, orange zest and candied ginger. On the palate, flavours of pear, toasted almond and chamomile are drawn together with acidity and a slight bitterness on the finish.
