A red wine from Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy. Teroldego traces is ancestry back to Syrah, giving this wine an intense ruby-red colour. Fruit is hand-harvested from the steep slopes of the Vallagarina appellation of Alto Adige. Grapes are de-stemmed and fermented in stainless steel with aging in large French oak barrels. The diurnal shift from day to night in this northern province of Italy gives great acidity to the wine as well as bright red fruit. 

Juicy fruits of cherry, orange and blackberry, yellow rose petals, tar, pencil shaving and cigar box, cedar smoke…super complex. Palate is long and driven by minerality, roses and berry liqueur, moderate plus tannin and acidity.
