With about thirty hectares of vines mainly located in Crozes-Hermitage of Rhone, France, Laurent Combier develops among the prettiest Syrahs in the appellation. Year after year, the wines are of remarkable purity. 2021 confirms this with his frenting nose of black fruits, violet, pepper and a touch of eucalyptus. In the mouth, the wine shows a generous, fresh and tasty fruity. The tannins are delicate, and the finish persists for a fairly good time on blackcurrant notes.

As early as 1969, Maurice Combier converted his vineyards and orchards to organic farming although the grapes he cultivated were then sold to trading houses. His son Laurent took over ownership in 1990 and put forward viticulture. Convinced of the potential of the appellation, he had a cellar built to undertake winemaking and aging.

Wine is first made in the field by a practice focusing on the life of the soil, impeccable work of the vine and severe sorting at the harvest. Winemaking is not very interventionist, with aging in concrete eggs, old barrels or half-muids.
