Juan Antonio Ponce began his winery in 2005, at the age of 23 and has been working biodynamically in the vineyard, and using wild yeast fermentation. Though Juan is predominantly known for his love of the native varietal that is Bobal, the Bueña Pinta is the only Ponce wine that does not feature Bobal!

Made from Moravia and Grenache that was fermented and matured in 4,500-liter oak vats, this wine is light, and refreshing with a bouquet of floral notes sprinkled with white pepper. However, it's the combination of maraschino cherry, flinty minerality and balsamic reduction on the palate that round out this wine perfectly.

Get this wine if you want a refreshing summer time red that will transport you to bustling city streets. Needs only a sharp cheese and possibly a sharp wit to maximise the experience.
