Kita Pinot Noir 2014
Kitá is a wine project lead by Chumash winemaker, Tara Gomez, working out of the Santa Ynez Valley. The Chumash supported Gomez throughout her career, granting her a scholarship to study enology at Cal State and later, purchasing the Camp 4 vineyard and immediately hired her on as head winemaker! Sourced from the esteemed Hilliard Bruce vineyard in Sta. Rita Hills, this Pinot Noir was aged in 80% new oak and 20% neutral French oak for 18 months. With deep aromas and flavours of black cherry cola, cranberry, rose, toasted vanilla bean and wet stone. A soft velvety texture highlights characters of earth, violets and pomegranates. The cool growing region and marine influence allow the elegance of this wine to shine!
Kita Pinot Noir 2014 is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
