Since 1956 this family business has been run by the same family. Seven family members are currently working in this unique wine domain. Northwest of the beautiful city of Verona in the hills above Sant’Ambroggio in the heart of the Valpolicella Classico is the vineyards that are, on average, 20 years old (running up to 35 years), and the vines are on thin calcareous soil.

If Bourgogne AOC is to Burgundy, then Valpolicella DOC is to Veneto. Period.

Crunchy fruits and confection nuances ascend to red violet fields, then a subtle taste of olive puts our feet back on the ground. The tannins are present, yet subtle. Sure, we can consume it on its own, but if antipasti were involved, there are no reasons to be mad either.

Grape varieties: A classic Valpolicella blend dominated by Corvina (65%), followed by Rondinella, Molinara, and some old native varieties.
