Made from 100% Grignolino, a lesser known varietal grown locally in Monferrato, is this lighter bodied red from Piedmont, Italy. 

Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and lasts 21-23 days. The wine is then aged 12-18 months in stainless steel and cement tanks before bottling and another 6 months in bottle before release.

This wine carries a beautiful perfumed and fruity nose of raspberries and roses. Red fruit carries into the delicate yet layered palate along with some flecks of earth and leather.
