Sitting pretty in Conca de Barbera, Spain, the radical winemaking duo of Joan Ramon and Mari Carmen have been grass-roots innovators of the natural wine movement since 2005. They run the gamut of socially responsible farming and have had a cult following since their inception.
This 100% Cabernet Franc is the perfect juxtaposition of floral and spicy. Having been fermented in clay amphorae, this wine is earthy, warm, yet energetic, with notes of raspberry, cocoa, and chicory.
Get this wine if you like your Cabernet Franc less green. Pairs very specifically with lamb chops and eggplant caponata.
