Huff Estates Cuvee Peter Huff 2011
Niagara's closest sister wine county is Prince Edward County. Nestled in the sweet spot between Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa, this traditionally agricultural hub is located just on the lake's edge making for a particular Canadian terroir. Arguably there is no better representative of this area than the Huff Estate. Born from the brainchild of Lanny Huff, a born and raised PEC man, the state-of-the-art facility spares no expense when it comes to crafting beautiful wine.
As the first winery in PEC to release a sparkling wine, this traditional method is likely to be nothing you've had before from Ontario. Made from both Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, it has a balanced freshness, but this wine is nuts as far as sparkling goes. Really… It's like a trail mix with all the buttered oats, mixed nuts and coconut.
Get this wine if you need time to sit back and relax. Whether you've put in a hard day's work or if you want to make an excellent first impression. Try it with sushi or lightly grilled shellfish.
Huff Estates Cuvee Peter Huff 2011 is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
