Wine of a charged ruby red color. On the nose the scents are elegant and stand out the smells of the territory that, starting from fruity notes, end up blending on floral themes and hints of tobacco and dark chocolate. On the palate it is very tasty, it shows a full and crunchy stretch, thick and very prolonged. Some tannic hardness, although present, ends up giving more grit and verticality.

The Macchione represents a small, family-run artisanal production. The choice to grow 100% Sangiovese comes from the love of this vine that, raised on the right soils, gives elegance, character and longevity to the wine over time. They do not use systemic products, no chemical herbicides are used and fertilization is carried out with sovescio and mineral organic matter.
