Gai'a Estate is a trailblazer in the modern Greek wine revolution, established in 1994 by Leon Karatsalos and Yiannis Paraskevopoulos, who run two wineries: one in Nemea, Greece's red wine region that has been making wine since the 5th century, and the second, on the sun-drenched island of Santorini. Gaia aims to present the potential of indigenous grape varieties to the world, using low intervention methods and responsible farming techniques.

This particular wine is made with Moschofilero (Mow-sko-feel-err-oh) grown in the elevated village of Agiorgitika. This variety is colloquially known as "The Chameleon" for its ability to showcase a wide range of aromas and flavours depending on where the grape is grown. In this case, we have a wine that produces aromatic fruit with naturally balancing acidity and aromas of fresh jasmine, orange blossom and sweet lemon with buttered phyllo pastry.

Get this wine if you like your wines with persistent aromatics and are ready to celebrate the most fantastical version of yourself. Treat yourself to a decadent spread of middle eastern flavours or seafood risotto.
