Inniskillin P3 2020
From one of the most iconic wineries in Canada comes a wine that is quite the enigma. Pressed and fermented separately over two weeks, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc grapes were all pressed and fermented independently over two weeks, only to be blended together to create a balanced wine.
So what is this wine exactly? A white? A rose? An orange? It’s very light pink hue barely suggests a rose, yet we get such a strong impression of strawberries, raspberries, and rhubarb. However, these red fruit notes are also harmonised by peach and citrus flavours. What is going on here?
Get this wine if you want to start a philosophical debate over what makes a rose/orange/white wine or if you need a crowd-pleasing wine that goes with almost any cuisine that will begin a debate. I’m looking at you, Hawaiin pizza.
Inniskillin P3 2020 is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
