Demencia Wines Pyjama 2018
The "Demencia de Autor" winery is led by the agricultural engineer Nacho León, who works with Mencía- a grape variety uniquely grown in Spain and Portugal. The Pyjama Mencia is produced from 60-year-old vines in El Bierzo, an area known for its excellent representation of the grape, and it delivers as a rustic, spicy and lively wine.
This funky combination of red berry fruit, floral prettiness, and gritty rain-soaked leaves are capped off with slightly toasted notes from its seven months in barrel.
Get this wine if you like your wine to be a workhorse with a mischievous twinkle in its eye. If you find yourself eating a thick pulled pork sandwich or watching a spaghetti western, do not hesitate to uncork this wine.
Demencia Wines Pyjama 2018 is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
