Via Barrosa Treixadura 2020
Treixadura is a grape native to Portugal and is primarily used as a blending grape in "Vinho Verde." Typically bringing a lemony flavour and more body to the table, this single varietal wine is a fabulous example of what Galacia's wine production is all about-crisp, bold, saline-filled goodness.
Not unlike Albarino, also by Via Barrosa, this is a beautiful grape growing area along the coastline, presenting itself as an elegant and fresh alternative to a Pinot Gris or Sauvignon Blanc. This wine oozes sophistication and elegance with a rich presentation of honey, mango, lemon citrus, and fresh-cut orchid.
Get this wine if you want to expand your white wine drinking repertoire or find yourself drawn to a fresh style of wine. This wine pairs well with a myriad of comfort food, especially freshly made chicken pot pie or any lighter protein in a cream sauce.
