The grapes for this Pinot Gris come from two primary vineyard plots, Kietzheim and Wettolsheim, with a mix of soil types: gravel, clay-limestone, and sand/limestone. Vine age is about twenty years. The grapes are hand-harvested, and are vinified and aged in stainless steel. Domaine Albert Mann is heralded the world over as being in the top-tier of Alsace producers. Using organic methods guided by biodynamic practices, the Domaine cultivates precisely controlled yields to obtain grapes of elevated maturity and complexity, resulting in wines that produce their own unique style. Never heavy, clumsy or out of balance, each carefully-crafted vintage presents a beautiful delineation of flavors and precise textures.

A slightly golden and shiny yellow color. A fresh nose with notes of peach, apple, and white flowers. The attack is energetic, suave and saline. The palate is elegant and pure, with good acidity. This is a harmonious dry wine with lovely balance.
