Mandrarossa Sentiero Delle Gerle Etna Bianco 2020
Grown on volcanic soils, grapes are harvested and destemmed, then softly pressed. Only the very first fraction of the must is recovered for fermentation. Selected yeasts are used for a long fermentation, about 25/30 days. After fermentation, the wine is refined in steel silos for 13/15 months.
Made from Carricante, this wine is straw yellow, with golden reflections. The nose is of pleasant finesse; it is fresh like biting into a crisp apple flickered notes of white flowers and classic Etna volcanic minerality. On the palate it is wide and rich with an bright acidity.
