Crafted by the talented hands of head winemaker Stephan Asseo, the 2014 ‘Estate Cuvée’ is a excellent blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Syrah and 15% Petit Verdot, which was 100% sourced from the L’Aventure Vineyard. The wine was aged for 15 months in 100% French oak prior to bottling and begins with bright aromatics of crème de cassis, black tea, mocha and tar. The mouthfeel is lovely, as is the tension, as it displays remarkable overall depth and concentration. Simply delicious, this wine continues to deliver ripe flavors crème de cassis along with of tar, mocha, and sweet pipe tobacco through the long, multi-layered finish.
